How to make a refund though OCTOPUS PMS and Vibrant integration

If you’ve accepted a payment using Vibrant through OCTOPUS PMS app switch integration and need to make a full or partial refund, just follow the steps below directly in the OCTOPUS app.
Step-by-step guide:
Open the Octopus app on your device and tap the burger menu in the top left corner.
From the menu, select "Cash register".
Choose the location or table where the original transaction was made.
In the top navigation bar, scroll horizontally until you find "Vibrant" as the payment method – then select it.
A window may appear asking you to "Enter an amount" – close this by tapping X in the top left corner.
In the window that remains, tap the "Refund" button.
In the new window:
Use the dropdown at the top to select the specific transaction under "Choose payment to return".
Enter the amount you want to refund under "Price" – leave it as-is for a full refund or enter a smaller amount for a partial refund.
Add a reason for the refund – this will also be visible in your Vibrant portal.
Tap "Okay". The app will now switch to the Vibrant app, where you’ll need to ask the customer to tap their card on the NFC area of the device to complete the refund.
