Ready to start accepting payments with Vibrant?
Here's how to easily find and install our app on your Android device:
Open the Google Play Store App: Locate the familiar Play Store icon on your phone and tap to open it.
Search for "Vibrant": In the search bar at the top of the Play Store app, type "Vibrant ".
Identify the Vibrant App: Look for the app with a yellow background featuring the black Vibrant mark.
Installing the app:
Once you've located the correct Vibrant App, tap the "Install" button.
The app will download and install onto your device. You might be prompted to sign in with your Google account during this process.
Location Services:
The Vibrant app requires location services to function properly. This is due to the underlying technology and Know Your Customer (KYC) purposes, ensuring compliance and identifying the region where payments can be accepted.
During app setup, you'll be prompted to enable location services. Grant the necessary permission to be able to use Vibrant.
Enabling automatic updates (Recommended):
For a seamless experience, we recommend enabling automatic updates for the Vibrant app. This ensures you always have the latest features and security patches.
Here's how to enable auto-update:
Open the Google Play Store app.
Tap on your profile picture in the top right corner.
Select "Settings" from the menu.
Tap on "Network preferences" and then "Auto-update apps."
Choose your preferred update option (over Wi-Fi only or anytime with data charges).
To enable automatic updates specifically on the Vibrant app:
On the app’s page in Google Play, click on the three dots icon on the top right corner.
Tap on the check box “ Enable auto-update”
Your app should now automatically update whenever we release a new version.
If you can't find the Vibrant app in the Play Store:
Make sure your Google Play Store account is registered in a country where Vibrant operates: Denmark, Faroe Islands, Greenland, Spain, Sweden, or Norway.
Verify your device's NFC functionality by searching your phone's settings for "NFC" or "Near Field Communication."
If your Android version is lower than 11, you won't be able to download the app. Consider upgrading your device's software if possible (consult your phone's user manual for upgrade instructions).
When purchasing a terminal device through Vibrant, the instalment, setup and maintenance of the software can be simplified through Mobile device management (MDM). Read more about MDM and its benefits here.
