Can I change the payout cutoff time for my business?

Not all businesses follow a 9 - 5 schedule. Your payouts shouldn’t have to either.
If you run a business that stays open late - like a restaurant or bar - you might want to make sure your late-night transactions are included in the same day’s payout.

With Vibrant, you can now request a custom cutoff time that reflects your actual opening hours. This gives you more control over how your payouts are grouped and helps you avoid splitting a day’s takings across multiple payouts.

Default cutoff time

By default, your cutoff is set to 22:45 (CEST) during summer time and 21:45 (CET) during winter time.

• Daily payouts: All eligible transactions up to the cutoff time are included in that day's payout, which is initiated on a T+3 basis (three business days after).

Time reference

Cutoff times are aligned with Central European Time:

• CET in winter (standard time)

• CEST in summer (daylight saving time)

This means the actual cutoff time shifts by one hour when summer time begins or ends.

Why change your cutoff time?

For physical businesses operating late at night, the standard cutoff might split a business day across two payout cycles.

By setting a custom cutoff time - like 01:00 or 02:00 - you can:

• Get clearer daily reports

• Reduce admin work for your bookkeeper

This is especially useful in hospitality, where the busiest hours often fall in the late hours of the day.

How do I change the cutoff time?

1. Contact Vibrant Support via phone or email

2. Tell us your preferred cutoff time (e.g. 02:00)

3. The new cutoff time will take effect starting from the next day after we process your request.

Note: One cutoff time applies per merchant ID, across all locations and devices.
